Candle Care
To ensure a clean, long-lasting, and safe burn, follow these simple care tips:
1. First Burn Matters
Allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire top layer to melt evenly (usually 1-2 hours). This prevents tunnelling and helps your candle last longer.
2. Trim the Wick
Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This keeps the flame steady, prevents soot, and ensures an even burn.
3. Burn Time
Do not burn your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Extinguish, let it cool, and trim the wick before relighting.
4. Keep It Clean
Ensure the wax pool is free from debris like matches or wick trimmings to avoid uneven burning.
5. Avoid Drafts
Place your candle away from fans, open windows, or air vents. Drafts can cause uneven burning and smoking.
6. Safe Placement
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and never leave it unattended while burning.
7. When to Stop
Discontinue use when about ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom to prevent overheating or container damage.
8. Storage Tips
Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their fragrance and appearance.
